Questions, a problem with the app, or a rule that looks wrong? Email support@oddhours.co.nz. Tell us your iPhone model, the app version (Settings > About in the app) and the area you were hunting, and we will get back to you.

Common questions

A rule looks wrong. Please email us with the rule and the area. Kiwi Hunt is a guide, not the law: your DOC hunting permit and its conditions always come first. Check the DOC hunting pages before you hunt.

My hunts are not syncing. Check you are signed in to the same iCloud account on each device, and that Kiwi Hunt is allowed to use iCloud in iOS Settings.

The map or wind will not load. They need a connection the first time. Before a trip, open the map once on Wi-Fi so the hunting areas are saved on your iPhone.

Ads. Kiwi Hunt is free, paid for by ads from Google. You can turn the ads off with the Remove Ads purchase in Settings in the app, and change ad tracking in iOS Settings.
